Present Continuous Tense In Hindi

इस Tense में मुख्य क्रिया के साथ रहा है, रही है, रहे हैं, रहा हूँ का प्रयोग होता है।

जैसे – राम घूम रहा है, सीता नाच रही है, लोग घूम रहें हैं, मैं घूम रहा हूँ। आदि

पहचान: इन वाक्यों के अंत में रहा है /रही है /रहे हैं /रहा हूँ /रहे हों आता है।
जैसे:
राम जा रहा है।
वे खेलने जा रहे हैं।
सीता पढने जा रही है।

How to make Tense:

If Sub=Singular(एकवचन)
Then:
1. Sub+is+Verb+ing
2. Sub+isn’t+Verb+ing
3. How+is+Sub+Verb+ing
4. Why+isn’t+Sub+Verb+ing

If Sub=I
Then:
1. I+am+Verb+ing
2. I+am+not+Verb+ing
3. How+am+I+Verb+ing
4. Why+am+I+not+Verb+ing

If Sub= You, or Plural(बहुवचन)
Then:
1. Sub+are+Verb+ing
2. Sub+aren’t+Verb+ing
3. How+are+Sub+Verb+ing
4. Why+aren’t+Sub+Verb+ing

Affirmative (सकारात्मक वाक्य)

Rule: Subject + is/am/are + verb 1^st form+ ing + object.

‘3^rd Person Singular Subject’ के साथ – is का प्रयोग

‘1^st Person Singular Subject’ यानि ‘I’ के साथ – am का प्रयोग

बाकी Subjects के साथ – are का प्रयोग

5.	लोग उसका मज़ाक उड़ा रहे हैं।	People are making fun of him.	Subject(People) ‘3^rd Person Plural’ है, इसलिए are लगा है।

Negative (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

Rule: Subject + is/am/are + not + verb 1^st form+ ing + object.

Interrogative (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

<Wh family> + is/am/are + subject + verb 1^st form+ ing + object?

प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यों में helping verb (is, am, are) subject से पहले आ जाती है। और अगर वाक्य मे Wh family जैसे who, why, when, what, which, until when, since when, how long आदि का प्रयोग हो तो वो तो सबसे पहले ही प्रयोग की जाती है।

2. Negative Sentence Example :

मैं आज स्कूल नहीं जा रहा हूँ।
I am not going to school today.
वे स्नान नहीं कर रहे हैं।
They are not bathing.
किसान खेत में हल नहीं चला रहा है।
The farmer ia not ploughing his field.
वह पौधों को पानी नहीं दे रहा है।
He is not watering the plants.
मेरा मित्र आज खाना नहीं खा रहा है।
My friend is not taking meal today.
मैं खाना नहीं खा रहा हूँ।
I am not taking meal.
मिस्त्री रेडियो ठीक नहीं कर रहा है।
